THERE ARE A FEW THINGS YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO IN OUR NEW MINISTRY CENTER...

On Sundays...

-A spacious conference center with available projection screen for Adult Sunday School class.

-A bright nursery with attached bathroom and direct access to a secure, exterior playground.

-Large Sunday School rooms with sinks to facilitate our active "rotation" curriculum.

-Private board room for council, committee and team meetings.

During the week...

-Various seminars and classes in the conference center-financial planning, personal security, grief counseling, marriage enrichment, and more.  Space for visiting youth groups and concerts.

-Large multipurpose rooms for existing ministries (prayer shawl, greeting card, coupon club, Compassionate Friends, etc) and plenty of room for new groups and activities.

-Space for worthy community organizations: Vitas Hospice, Scouting etc.

These are just a few ideas.

Thanks for your support,

Pastor Jay

Paster's Notes:

I was so inspired by Holy Week and Easter this year.  Our Music Director, choirs, Casual Service team, and countless others did an amazing job of capturing the appropriate mood and tone for each congregational experience.  Our Fellowship Committee (aided by the men of the church) provided a delicious Easter breakfast and I saw scores of delighted children running after brightly colored eggs.  As I preached throughout Holy Week and on Easter morning, I felt from those present a passion and dedication for the message that surpassing anything I had experienced before.  Worshipers were "into" the music and what I was saying.  Honestly, I was a bit worried about attendance for Easter with most of our winter friends having already returned home.  However, attendance was excellent with many new faces in the congregation and plenty of old friends present as well.  It was an encouraging sign in this time of church expansion and outreach.  Let's be honest, change is never easy, and we've had a lot of it around the property as the Ministry Center nears completion.  The old expression, "pardon our dust" certainly applies!  Thanks for your patience and understanding during this time of transition.  My goal as we move through the summer and beyond is to uphold our traditions while adding new ministries and worship experiences.  God is leading us on an exciting journey.  Thanks again for your patiences along the path.
